Dave Bender David Bender
JPostRadio.com Director Dave Bender has a rich background in radio news and features broadcasting. Prior to a stint as Jerusalem Post Internet Latest News Editor, Dave produced and hosted programming on several English and Hebrew-language web and broadcast radio stations, in Israel and the US. Dave was born in New York, and grew up in Florida and Texas. He has been in Israel for many years. He is a blues and R&B musician and songwriter.

Elwood McQuaid Elwood McQuaid
Elwood McQuaid began ministering at churches in Virginia in 1953. Over the next 24 years, he served in three churches and founded a successful Christian educational institution. His final 15 years of pastoral ministry were in Lynchburg, Va., where his congregation numbered more than 1,000. He joined The Friends of Israel in 1977 and became executive director in 1989. In 2001, he stepped down as executive director, but continued as editor-in-chief and media director. He also hosts Friends of Israel's daily and weekly radio programs, which air over more than 300 outlets in the United States and overseas. Books he has written include "Zvi," "It Is No Dream," "Come, Walk With Me," and others.

Rabbi Wein Rabbi Berel Wein
Rabbi Berel Wein is founder and director of The Destiny Foundation. For more than 20 years he has been identified with the popularization of Jewish history through lectures, more than 600 audiotapes, books, seminars, educational tours and, most recently, dramatic and documentary films. Wein is a graduate of Hebrew Theological College and Roosevelt College in Chicago. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from De Paul University Law School and a Doctor of Hebrew Letters from Hebrew Theological College. In 1977 he founded Yeshiva Shaarei Torah in Suffern, New York, and remained its Rosh Hayeshiva until 1997. Wein has authored four Jewish history books - "Triumph of Survival," "The Story of the Jews in the Modern Era," "Herald of Destiny, the Medieval Era; Echoes of Glory, the Classical Era," and "Faith and Fate, the story of the Jews in the Twentieth Century."

Brian Blum Brian Blum
Brian Blum is a Jerusalem-based writer and content management specialist. After receiving degrees in Creative Writing and Instructional Technology, he spent 10 years writing and producing award-winning CD-ROM titles. He taught multimedia design at San Francisco State University and at the Herziliya Interdisciplinary Cente''s Digital Media Studies Program. He has contributed hundreds of articles to magazines and newspapers including "Multimedia World," "Media Letter" and "The Jerusalem Post." Ziff-Davis Press published his book, "Interactive Media: Essentials for Success," in 1996. In 1997, he launched a VC-backed Internet start-up and subsequently served as Entrepreneur-in-Residence for a Jerusalem-based venture capital firm. Brian immigrated to Israel from the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and three children in 1994. His online column, "This Normal Life," can be read at http://brianblum.blogspot.com.

Rabbi WeinLiat Collins
Liat Collins was born and raised in Britain and emigrated to Israel in 1979, at which time she joined the Israeli Army. After learning Hebrew during her military service, she then received a bachelor's degree in Chinese Studies and International Relations at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She followed that with a master's degree in communications. Collins has worked at The Jerusalem Post since 1988 in positions ranging from gossip columnist to parliamentary reporter. She received a national award for her contribution to raising the standards of environmental reporting. She is also known for her weekly column, "On the Sidelines," which she is now bringing to JPost.com. The column is a light look at Israeli life peppered with puns and wordplay. Collins is managing editor of the International Jerusalem Post. She lives in Jerusalem with her son.

Brian BlumAmanda Borschel
Amanda Borschel is a third-generation musician who studied violin and voice at the Indiana University School of Music. She graduated with a degree in Jewish Studies and History. Borschel made her way to Jerusalem in 1999 to study Talmud at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies and joined the Jerusalem Post in 2001, Borschel was acting editor of the paper's Arts and Entertainment department and is now Deputy Magazine Editor.
